Quest is an authorized distributor of Safety Floor Treatment Services. SFT offers slip resistant floor treatment for all hard mineral flooring including Industrial and Commercial sites. Please note, this product will not work on metal or wood flooring.
Safety Floor Treatment Services
SFT provides a variety of safety related services and products to aid in the prevention of slip and fall accidents. SFT's mainstay product is for tiled and hard mineral floors, which is a uniquely formulated chemical compound designed to react with the silica sand in concrete, tile, and terrazzo floor surfaces. This chemical reaction then results in the creation of a microscopic texture that significantly increases traction (coefficient), particularly when the treated surface is wet.
When treated with the slip resistant product, performance of the treated area is generally tripled over a normal cleaned surface.
Scheduling Procedure:
Once locations to be treated have been determined, Safety Floor Treatment’s scheduling experts will then go about the process of contacting your Director of Operations/Manager for each individual location for the purpose of setting specific dates and times for treatment. SFT will work around your schedule to minimize interference with your normal business activities and traffic patterns utilized within your facility.
Cleaning and Treating Procedures:
Under most circumstances, SFT technicians will pre-clean your floors and then prepare the surface prior to application of SFT’s propriety product(s) required for your particular flooring application. The treatment agent will be left on the floor for the recommended time of seven to ten minutes to allow for proper emulsifying. All materials are then wet vacuum removed, and the floor is thoroughly rinsed. The average treatment time is three to five hours for these cleaning and treating procedures. Since there is no cure time for treatment, the floors are ready for regular use immediately following the procedure.

Warranty
SFT's Slip Resistant product and service comes with a full THREE (3) year warranty. During the warranty period, Quest will monitor the floors Coefficient to specifications annually at no charge and reapply if the coefficent properties do not meet code requirements.
